Bigg Boss Hindi 3 is the third season of India’s reality television show. Bigg boss hindi premiered on Colors TV on 4 October 2009, with Amitabh Bachchan as the host, and ran for 84 days, ending on 26 December 2009.

Every week, housemates nominate two of their peers for elimination, with the housemates with the most nominations facing a Bigg Boss vote. The premiere episode had a 1.96 rating. This season of Bigg Boss had the lowest ratings of all the seasons. Despite the presence of Amitabh Bachchan, this was the only season that received less than 2 ratings. The finale episode of Bigg Boss 3 received a rating of 3.06, which was higher than the previous two seasons.
Despite the fact that the finale of Bigg Boss 3 had higher ratings than the finale of Bigg Boss 2, the average ratings of Bigg Boss 3 were lower than the average ratings of Bigg Boss 2. The average rating point for Bigg Boss 3 was 2.83.
