This is the second season of the Malayalam language version of India’s reality television series. Bigg Boss Malayalam 2 premiered on 5th January 2020. It was produced by Endemol Shine India and was broadcast on Asianet. Mohanlal returned as the host. The show followed 22 contestants, who were isolated from the outside world for 105 days in a custom-built house.
The house was situated in EVP film city Chennai. Here 17 contestants entered on Day 1 and six joined later as wild card entries. The winner of the season will receive a flat worth 5 million (50 lakh) along with a trophy. The show aired daily at 9 pm Ist. The Malayalam second season introduced an after-show titled BB café. On 20th March 2020, the show was stopped due to COVID-19.

The Bigg Boss Malayalam season 2 Host was Mohan Lal. He hosted this show for 75 days. He announced the winner’s name on 20th March 2020. His performance was very good in this season of Bigg Boss.
