Bigg Boss Hindi season 1 is the Initial Season is the first season of the Indian reality television show Bigg Boss. It broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television for 86 days. Bigg boss hindi season 1 started on 3 November 2006 and ended on 26 January 2007. Unlike other versions of Big Brother, the Indian version features celebrities rather than ordinary people as housemates. Arshad Warsi, a Bollywood actor, hosted the event.
The format of the show is based on John de Mol’s Bigg Brother. A group of contestants (termed “housemates”) lived in a specially constructed house, cut off from the rest of the world. Every week, housemates nominated two of their mates for eviction, with the housemates with the most nominations facing a vote of the people. One of them would eventually depart the House after being “evicted” through Bigg Boss vote results. However, Bigg Boss stipulated that there were some exceptions to this rule. There were three housemates left in the final week, and the public do Bigg Boss voting on who they wanted to win.
Each week, Bigg Boss assigned tasks. The housemates were permitted to wager on assignment outcomes, and if they won, they were given extra money to acquire more supplies. The next season i.e, Bigg Boss Hindi 2 will also be exciting one like this season.
